What is there to do on Block Island?  Block Island is such a fun place to explore for all ages. Set the technology aside and head out for a hike, kayak, paddle or bike ride. Pack a fishing pole and check out one of the island's 365 fresh water ponds. If salt water fishing is your preference set out for the beach or charter a fishing trip for the day with one of our many experienced island captains. Block Island hosts award winning dining, historic inns, art galleries, and quaint shops. One of Block Island's unique features is the ferry landing's proximity to breathtaking beaches. Hop on the boat and take the five minute walk to Crescent Beach, a two and a half mile stretch of sandy beach, great for all ages. While a day trip is always great, it's even better to spend the night.  All types of accommodations for couples, families and groups can be found at www.blockislandreservations.com.
