Appleyard
“The Appleyard” is a private home on High Street, just a few hundred yards from Old Harbor and the beaches, in a quiet residential setting. There are three nicely furnished guest rooms that have recently been redecorated, each with a tiled bathroom air conditioning, coffee maker, small refrigerator and Direct TV. New in 2013 all rooms will have access to complimentary WiFi and new flat screen TV’s! Rooms 1 and 2 are on the second floor and Room 3 is located on the first floor. The property owners occupy the first level in separate private quarters. Room 1 has a king bed and accommodates two people. Room 2 is fitted with a queen size bed plus a twin day bed and can accommodate 3 people. Room 3 is completely renovated and is located on the first floor. This new room is furnished with a king bed, reading area with love seat, and new private bathroom. There is off street parking for all guests, a bike rack and an outdoor shower for use after the beach. Guests may relax and enjoy the spacious front porch anytime. All guests of the Appleyard Guest House check in and out at the Harborside Inn, located directly across from the Old Harbor Ferry Landing. From here we will give you directions to the Appleyard. Check in time is 4pm. Check out time is 11am. We offer complimentary luggage storage at the Harborside Inn if you arrive before check in time or would like to spend the day on departure.
To reserve a room at the Appleyard Guest House we require a 50% deposit on a Visa or Master Card or American Express for two or more nights and 100% deposit for a single night. There is a six day cancellation policy. Cancellations with six days notice will result in a refund less the $25 administrative fee. Within six days of arrival the deposit is non refundable. We regret that refunds are not given for late arrivals or early departures. There is a two night minimum stay at the weekend rate and three nights on holiday weekends.
