Burgess House
The Burgess House is one of the oldest houses on Block Island. through the years we have modernized it to maximize it’s conveniences while keeping its charm. The kitchen was remodeled recently and has new appliances. As of 2013 Wifi has been added for our guest’s convenience. There are two bathrooms both with tiled showers and one also has a soaking tub.
The great room has a large table with seating for eight, a mahogany bar that can double as a buffet station and a thirty two inch flat screen television. There are four bedrooms each with a flat screen television and direct tv hook ups. Three of the bedrooms have a queen bed and the fourth has two twin beds all with new mattresses and bedding.
Enjoy Block Island sunsets from the long indoor sun porch or relax on the outdoor deck equipped with comfortable deck furniture and a gas grill. We are only a five minute walk to town, the Old Harbor ferry dock and to the beginning of Crescent Beach.
Additional amenities include: Spacious outdoor shower, parking for up to 2 cars, A/C in one upstairs bedroom, dishwasher, washer & dryer, iron, ironing board, coffee maker, blender, lobster pot, microwave, fans in each room, satellite TV.
This home may be rented nightly with a two night minimum stay or by the week for a maximum of 8 guests. Smoking and pets are not permitted at the Burgess House.
